Haiti's voodoo priests have claimed that the many mass burials taking place in Haiti are not dignified or in keeping with black magic rituals.
Haiti, a country where many people still believe in voodoo and zombies, there has been concern the dead bodies could be brought back to life to persecute the living. The priests have taken their concerns to President Rene Preval to ask him to intervene. While Haiti's main voodoo leader, Max Beauvoir, has told Mr Preval that mass graves are against the Haitian culture, authorities are likely to continue the rate of burial as the most efficient way to dispose of the fast-rotting corpses from Tuesday's disaster. More than half of Haiti's 9 million people are believed to practice voodoo along with Catholicism. Many Haitians see no conflict between the two. http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=589908 |
Road trip to Haiti for Zombie hunting expedition!
Who's in? |
A couple things concern me, from what I've seen on the videos a lot of them look like zombies, how do we tell the difference? Also, they have a high AIDS % there, do zombies that died with AIDS still have the AIDS? Let's be realistic zombie killing is a messy business, a fun and rewarding one, but messy. This AIDS thing concerns me.
OK so pick you weapon. I'm going with chainsaw and broadsword. |
GOD DAMN IT! First midgets, now zombies? When will the madness stop?
|
That's preposterous! Theres no such things as midgets!
The other part of the story that's noteworthy is all the cruise ships making port in tne Dominican Republic, with party goers and resort dwellers that seem oblivious to the devastation on the very island they're visiting |

I'd say gun or chainsaw, but I'd hate to run out of ammo or gas. I've been really fond of my axe and maul lately, I'm going to go with those. Kitana would be nice, but I don't know where I can find one of those on short notice. |
I'm going with a machete and a shotgun.
|
i thought this was a joke at first!
this might be the first serious post in gen D |

I poo'd just a lil bit when i saw that... i must have one. |
I've actually been preparing for this moment for some time...
My anti-mexican/zombie mallet is a specialized weapon created for maximum efficiency with slow reacting targets. A blunt end for extreme trauma and a spiked end for a swift, clean kill. The gauntlets will provide ample protection against bites and grabs! (uploader is broken - cant upload on any of my boxes... boooo) http://www.travisarket.com/weapons.jpg |
Anyone remember the movie "the serpent and the rainbow"?
|
Sidewinder... i think it scares me a lil bit that you actually have that built. I am under prepared.
|
change to the other uploader sidewinder, there's a link right there to do it. Trouble uploading? Try switching to our basic uploader
works fine for me |

Haiti was a ******* mess BEFORE the earthquake. Orphans dieing, people starving to death and NO ONE GAVE A ****. Now the earthquake hits and everyone is opening their wallets, WTF? |
It's just cause people want to FEEL like they are doing something, and they can only do that if it's being televised and getting attention. How many people did you see with American flags on their cars or lawns, or those "support our troops" things on their cars before 9-11? NONE. It's the "cool" thing to do. ****** sheep. How many of those same people do you see flying a flag on their front lawn now?
|
I drive all red cars, wear blue jeans, and Im white as ****, I't doesn't get more patriotic than that!
I got a burger king size American flag at my house and at my office, pre 911! I dunno what's what about Haiti other than they're the poorest nation in the southern hemisphere and got thier asses kicked from this earthquake, I donate blood reqularly and sent money for Katrina and a sleu of other nasty **** in THIS country, mostly 'cause I couldnt go myself, it just hit me that all these cruise ships were docking on the other side of that island for leisure while all these other people are dead, dying and struggling right over the hill, such is life I guess. |

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif Me Likey the comic .. Sad about what is going on in Haiti. So many places in the world could use help and always have their own problems and disasters. As was mentioned, it is mainly when things go public that people will help. Many so they can brag.. I for one would never say or tell that I helped. Anonymity when helping is best since you get nothing in return for your deed other than personal satisfaction.
One thing that helps is that there is more technology to get the pics and vids out to the people, but if you never have gone to a poor country, what you see would break your heart, although your heart would have been broken just as well had you seen the conditions of these places prior to the disaster. I had not watched the news since this happened because I have been working, but i have caught the stories on the radio. Tough times lie ahead for this world. |
I think I might just have to use my 12 guage, 9mm and ar-15 M4 for the zombie invasion. But I might have to stock up on more .223 and shotgun shells, I have plenty of 9mm.

Kill the brain, stop the train!
All they know is eat, they don't care about anything else and they scare the living **** out of me! |
"shoot the head and not the chest, headshots are the very best"
best line of the movie "fido" where a bunch of elementary school students are paper target shooting with a bb gun and singing that song |
Here's where this is going...
Zombieland! https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_QIxbWIgV1...vie-poster.jpg I'll just sit up high with my AR15 and SocomII and a box full of Twinkies! |

I think some of you have missed the memo. Zombies = lots / Ammo = limited
