I was soooo pissed last night. I decided to go work on the vert some (damn motor swap taking forever). I find **** all over the drivers seat. Car smelled nauseating. Then saw little feet walking between the headliner and vert top. I haven't been that pissed in a long time.



They chewed up the boot cover that was in the trunk, which really sent me into a rage. Those things are hard to find, and this one was original! In near perfect condition! And God only knows what else they chewed up in the car.



I guess this explains why my dog has been freaking out occasionally and barking at what seemed to be nothing.



Emptied the trunk out, but didn't clean out the carport yet. I want to catch them first. I bought some glue traps last night, do those things work? I've never even seen mice around here before, what's the best way to take care of them?

My dog had been barking at the pile of firewood in the carport for a few weeks off-and-on, I honestly thought he was just really, really stupid.

Haha, I have one. He's like 20 lbs., and eats the dogs' "large breed" dog food. I thought about locking him in the car to catch the mice, but he'd probably end up eating the leather seats rather than the mice.

use the chihuahua. I left mine in the garage for a couple hours after spotting a mouse a couple times and never saw mice again. No way she caught any, just having the dog there must have scared them away.

Our Chessie has been going nuts on them, he just can't catch them. Unfortunately, the Chessie pretty much treats the Chihuahua like a mouse, so the rat dog doesn't like going outside.





1 down! Edna called me when she got home, one got stuck to the glue tray. Now I just have to figure out how to dispose of it. She wants me to remove it from the glue tray and set it free in the forest. It'll probably rip all its fur off, no? I'm thinking of just tossing it in a plastic bag and into the garbage. I'm not used to having to deal with these things.

LOL. Well, the key to resolving these potentially troublesome situations lies in the proper use of language. Many phrases in the English language can have more than one meaning. You have used one such phrase in the above post, i.e. "set it free". You can in good conscience tell your wifey that you took the cute little mouse to the forest and "set it free", when in fact you have whacked it with a hammer and tossed it in a trash bag. In so doing, you have "set it free" from the worries of being a mouse, finding food, avoiding predators, etc., and your dilemma is solved.

Only thing is there is really no way to get all the glue crap off the mouse IF you can get it off the tray.



So my laziness got the best of me.
