Sorry, I'm dumb... Like a fox.

What is 'BPU', and why do some folks list 'BPU++'? What does it mean and what's the difference?

vosko 01-14-2003 12:40 PM

BPU is supra talk

BPU = basic peformance upgrades

that means full exhaust, intake, boost controller

Haha... I don't feel quite so retarded now! :bigok:

I was on Wargasm's Dyno Comparo site and noticed an FD Rx7 'BPU++', and I was like, "What in the ****?" and... yeah... I talk too much.

Sinful7 01-14-2003 12:48 PM

So what do FD owner's say when they want to relay that they have all the basic bolt-ons? I mean, don't we have some weird acronym or something?

EDIT: I can't speel

j9fd3s 01-14-2003 12:49 PM

hmm strangely enough no. they will say dp/cb/med ic/ecu etc etc

Wow, you mean we actually take the time to write everything out? Must be because we get where we're going so much faster, that we actually have time to sit and type. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

j9fd3s 01-14-2003 12:53 PM

Basic bolt-ons on an RX-7 are an engine hoist and load leveler.
