As if being sick and the power being out for 2 days wasn't enough. My buddy got in a motorcycle accident (very close friend) and was badly injured... my dad was hit by some bitch not paying attention at a light, totalled his company car, spun him around in the intersection and now he can't move off the couch he is in so much pain and to top it off he has surgury scheduled for Tuesday.

He broke his shoulder in 3 places, this is his second bike accident. We both love the sport, which makes it hard to give up, but he's done.

My Dad doesn't know, he was fine yesterday afternoon, when evening rolled around he could hardly move. I am taking him to the DR tomorrow or Monday if things don't improve.

Once the adelaline fades,.. this is common. He probably has sustained some whiplash to his back. Has he been x-rayed yet? Do you believe in Chiropracters? I would head to one then get a massage from a LMT.

Phins, people get kicked while they're down, but you'll get through this man.

Hell, I got my first speeding ticket last night for doing 80 in a 55...in GA I can lose my license for 6 months now (it was >21MPH over) unless the officer lowers the speed. He said he would "consider" lowering it if I took a DD course. Yay us! I know my standing isn't nearly as bad as yours, but I thought I would mention it.

**** happens and it *******s sucks, but what are you going to do? Move on.

My dad has a really bad back from working construction for most of his life. He has had 2 backand 2 sholder operations.

The chiropractor made his back feel good for like 2 hours, but after that he was in more pain then when he started..
