I was walking through the hallway in my office building and saw this on CNN, but didn't really see any details until I got back to my computer. I'm surprised the guy lived! |
I was actually watching the race on ESPN when this happened. The camera that they happened to be on at the moment of the crash was the one in the corner extremely close to the crash. Usually you see these happen when they are panned out on the big camera.
When you see it with the closer camera, it is amazing how fast it happens. Blink of an eye.... When you see crashes with the panned out camera, they just seem so much slower but the close up camera was horrifying. |
Yeah, what I saw was from the camera on that corner, and the car seemed to disintegrate instantly.
|
holy crap...think he was a little dizzy after that spin?

I saw it today at lunch... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png did anyone see his arm flopping around in the slo-mo replay?
And I thought my spin-out at 60mph was confusing... |
