thats a norm piston motor but has no reed valve uses a rotory valve (rotating disc) carb sucks form the side of the motor

A good new shifter cart chassis will run you 1500-2000, the motor all depends on who you go to, but another 1k for everything built right isnt out of the question at all...



Then you have tires, seat, blah blah blah...



I almost bought a 2stroke enduro (lay completley on your back with only your head poking up) with 2 motors for 2k, but that is a different level then the shiftercarts.



woodbridge kart club makes you get a license before they let you race the shift carts because they are so fast...



(woodbridge races once a month at summit point and VIR...)
