I've used these on my XM and my Sirius radios and they have always sounded fine, I've had to change the stations to emit static, but never poor sound quallity.

Anyhow, I bought one of the cheap ones for my PDA so I could play my wma's on the car deck, it sounds like ****, I used one of the old xm ones and it sounds great, so it's definetely the new one i bought, issue with the xm one is it has too many cables, I'd rather the nice smalll one, but of course one that actually works.

Anyone know of a brand that aint ****.

Good way to not answer the question dumbass! Unless of course you're implying that your "brand" isnt ****, to which i must honestly reply you have to be joking. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

actually, its not ****. i'm going to be making a transmitter and reciever for my guitar (which will cost less than $50), so i dont have to spend over $100 on a transmitter/reciever. it'll also be able to go farther than the guitar transmitters, too. i'm gonna try and get it to go over 1/4 mile (wont be that hard). okay. i'm going to shut up now.

You realize i was just kidding? But really phins only wants to buy one so unless you want to make him one this doesnt help him much.

i know. i don't have the time to make him one. i have a pinstriping kit on the way, along with a lot of chainmaile. i'll have to find the transmitter i found a while back, when i was still into model rocketry, and was getting into the larger rockets. it would transmit up to a mile, and it only costed $20 for the kit, and like $30 assembled. i guess it doesn't help if i can't find it, either, does it?

damn guys, shut up.

I used a Belkin for the ipod, and it sucked horribly. Then got a Monster, and it works great (except if another station is coming in, but there are 10 channels to choose from I think).

Yeah, I have an Ipod one too. Piece of ****

Well that saves me from buying the belkin one LOL

Is the monster one universal?

Baldy 03-22-2006 10:08 AM

The one we have is only for the ipod, but I'm sure they have universal ones.
