well, hopefully I'll have it working before you get to school, but If not I'll gladly take it.
i have it, let me know how you make out ill gladly us mail a copy bro.
The CD is the exact same...there is not difference.
The difference is the key. If you have a Corp key, you don't have to activate the OS. |
i had my key from my gf, he works for m$, now its all over the net. I'll pm it to you rotary
Actually, that key more than likely will not work.
The keygen that I'm talking about generates a key from your machine (I believe the algorithm is based on time or something, apparently), trust me I've tried this...I slipstreamed SP1 with my Windows XP Pro files and used a corporate key so I didn't have to activate it. |
well everyone i know uses my key and we've never had sp problems.
Did you install SP1a?
yep
Interesting...I tried to install SP1a with the "corporate" key that's easily available and it didn't work.
I read an article in 2600 about slipstreaming SP1a with the XP Pro CD files...so that's what I did and used the keygen they suggested. |
ahhhh, /me hugs Gentoo once again, no worries about keys and such for me, err, as I sit next to my windows box with the devils own edition of winxp on it. ah ah ah
