Might be a stupid question... But don't they run a lot of boost? Or just a huge snail and low boost?

Well. I guess the boost pressure is prettylow.. since the trucks rev very little..

They're not low pressure, NTC 350 cummins runs 18lbs of boost. The 400 is around 27lbs if I remember right.

Keep in mind that a 400 cummins can put out 800hp at the wheels reliably so overboost isn't going to harm the engine in the short term.

The turbos on those things are so finely tuned it's not even funny. Never really thought about a BoV or much when I was working on them.

Beat me too it. My uncle has a truck. They run some pretty high boost numbers.

Geez.. I guess I now have to go pay attention to my brothers freightliner.. That fookin snail is huge. But my bro's truck is only good for like 400 to 500 HP.. somewhere around there..

Hmmm... Good info. I never really thought about it much, but since my car is down I listen to any rig I can just for the turbo... But then I noticed there is no blow off... So I figured I would ask...
