Nothing more anoying than receiving a ZIP file with a password, and when you ask for it, you get something like "Duh, I dont remember. Do you need it?"
Now I am gonna have to sit here and watch a process run for 15 days to find the password and be able to use the damn software contained. So if you password protect your zips, dont bother. Your gonna forget and just annoy someone else trying to get them back. That is all. this has been a public service anouncement of Genom Corp. Bringing Boomers to life! |
I've never had that problem!

Me either... lol

maybe its cause you live in the swampland

Oh well. At least it wasnt too bad after all. I love my home machine. brute forced the password out in all of 2 hours, while my work machine was still cranking away this morning.
Working with large competing manufacturers is a pain. They are always putting passwords on everything. PDF's, .xls, .doc's. It's anoying. |
