is it just me or is the car the least worthwhile part of that auction?
why would a 'race car' still have the sub-zero cold start assist tank sitting under the hood? He's obviously removed a handful of other junk, looks like a hack to me. |
lol yeah his car really isn't impressive...but the trailer and truck would be nice
|
no ****, that truck and trailer setup is pimp. vosko should get that and go all out drag on the FD, then trailer it to the supra vs rx7 events.
|
yeah i know.... if i could get both for $20k that would be a steal LOL

someone here in my town is selling the new Ferrari Enzo Fx60 for $1million+ on ebay

My friend Jay has a setup like that to trailer his Civic...the car cost about $30K (including purchase price) and the truck/trailer cost like $50K...that's ironic.

spending more than my car cost to trailer doesn't seem worth it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

The trailer and truck to carry a race car or show car is generally very expensive because it is the owner's way of "pampering" the vehicle they worked so hard on to build, or in most people's cases have others build for them. Of course quite honestly i believe if a car is built that cant handle driving to a show or race then you damn well need to learn how to build it better, unless you're pushing like 1,200hp or it's not street legal or some ****. Especially since plenty of mkiv supras are rolling around as daily drivers with like 600hp.... thats why i laugh when i see a civic barely pushing like 200hp getting trailered, it's rather hilarious, unless it's an enclosed trailer you're more likely to fuckup the paint while it's on an open-bed trailer, i've had it happen plent of times, eventually we built a mini wall at the front of our trailer to protect our **** https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
kevin. speaking of trailering cars, this car that cost like hudnreds of thousands of dollars won a meguiar's car show, it took top prize of the show, and had like under 20 miles on it, it was trailered cross country to go to the show and everything.... on it's way home the trailer flipped and wrecked the car..... so they wasted tons of money for a car they never got to enjoy. kevin x 2. |
