"Who here has a beard?

Ive had one for a few weeks now, its not that bad.. It took me forever to decide where to find that line on my neck, but i think i got it covered..

Its late and i felt like making a dumb post.

So deal"

I feel more stupid then i did before for reading that link.

I've been thinking about growing a well maintained beard now that I am a captain, but I dunno.

bearded clam ?

I tried to let mine grow out. Looked too white trashy and itched like a *****. I prefer the stuble look.

nota944 09-22-2005 12:37 PM

Beard? Not me. I used to wear a goatee, but I was told that the owner of the Porsche dealership I now work for doesn't allow facial hair outside of a moustache due to it not being "professional enough". Crock of **** if you ask me.

Of course, they also insist on Parts and Service advisors wearing stupid long sleeve white shirts with ties and black dress pants at all times, even in the summer. I asked about being able to wear a short sleeved Polo shirt with a Porsche crest on it. Apparently, that's not professional looking, either.

Bleah.

I've been growing mine for the last four weeks or so. I look like a friggin doctor. Beard gotta go.

Baldy 09-22-2005 01:03 PM

I started wearing glasses again, so I've got two factors for the "look smart" aspect. Beard and glasses, people must think I'm a friggin genius.

I've dabbled in beardary, but mine itches too much and I end up shaving to get rid of it. I have a goatee and moustache.

boxrs4sale 09-22-2005 04:34 PM

is this a serious thread about growing a beard? or just a regular one..

Il RX8 lI 09-22-2005 04:39 PM

I think it's semi-serious, maybe delirious.

Eric Happy Meal 09-22-2005 05:51 PM

i hear your brother goes to brooks institute?

and i kind of grow one out sometimes. theres a point where it itches for like 1-2 days then it doesnt itch anymore.

CrassFC3S 09-22-2005 07:02 PM

all you girls complaining about itching have pansy skin you need to be rugged to rock the beard.
