Well as I type this Ito is on the highway to pick up a nose for the RX3 and do some business in Florida.

He is doing some business and stayed here for a week. I wish we could have done more fishing together. I had a tuna trip lined up but his family took precedent. This son of a bitch can eat! He was more of a local than me. He had chefs cooking **** that wasn’t even on the menu!

We had some long days but it was more about visiting. However, I will say emphatically that there was several times where this man's experience with the RX7 just blew me away. While many may think its about the engines, porting etc. I will say that in conversations and the physical actions it was about the knowledge of the car and motor.

One example: Ten minutes in town after days of driving I say, "Why don’t you relax?" He says '"Where's your car?" So we go to my store. While the car is on the trailer he says to turn it over....

Two revolutions he says "Stop"." Timing issue, something is wrong"

The car had trailing harness in reverse! (I disclaim this because I didn’t install it this time... as in the past)

Anyway, he visited with FastFreddy, Jonothan at the shop. Barry Bordes a NASA engineer “an Ito template purchaser” and our Master Rotary/PFC tuner TurboMark7.Trout who many have seen the threads on the bad Pineapple motors visited. Ito had nothing but good things to say about Rob Golden at Pineapple Racing. Thought it was a case of some understudy letting crappy products get out.

We went to No Problem Raceway to run the Harley truck so he could rag my driving which was total BS. He bought a hotdog and a $6.00 can of Mosquito spray........*****.I introduced him to Mark Oswald fom Cincinatti past NHRA champ and current co crew chief of the JR Todd /Skull Top Fuel dragster. Also we visted with Mr. Leonard Hughes past owner/crew chief of the Smoking Joe Cambell /Ford Motor craft funny car.

So the Jersey boy got to go bass fishing Sunday here in the swamps. Unfortunatly with the bad weather and fall the gators were hiding.Went to the French Quarter yesterday but its a wreck still from Katrina.

Through NP we have become friends as I have with many here (you too Vosko). Scott offered his place in Florida last year as a crash and meet.

Ito is taking some time out from the community to slow down and be a kid, and if you want know Ito is the size of a NFL linebacker.

I hope that he is able to execute his business ideas and wish him the best of luck.
