ferrari doesn't really suck, they are just VERY over rated. there are plenty of rx7's that would smoke most ferrari's and cost like 1/100 of what the ferrari cost. they sell a name now, thats all. they are no longer awesome like they were in the 50s and 60s.

Ferraris are refined, performance machines. A Ferrari will always be more stable at speed, faster around the track and attract WAY MORE ass than any RX-7. The sound is amazing coming from their technologically advanced engines with high rev limits and the attention to detail during the build process of the car you can see just by giving a car a quick glance. Test drive a Zonda and test drive an Enzo, you will be blown away by the Enzo but endup having to buy the Zonda cause you can't afford the Ferrari.
