I live in Jersey, I just want to buy some damn parts so I can start my ebay bussiness. Does anybody have any idea what I need to do to start up one? And what about getting parts wholesale? Any help would be great!!! email me @ ridgeracerevolution@yahoo.com,

I looked into something similar once. Basically you need alot of startup money for what you want to do. To setup an ebay buisness/store you need about $300. Your inventory costs are up to you, the more inventory you have the better, and the more stuff you buy at once, the cheaper you will pay for it. That ofcourse is where the big money comes in. Doing a car part buisness involves alot of startup money. If you wanted to do small stuff like lightbulbs and ****, it's not that bad. Also for small stuff there are wholesale companys that do what is called "drop ship". Basically when you sell the item you go to the wholesale site, order it, and they ship direct to your customer.

"Drop Ship" is the way our shop does business with wurth parts supplier.

A representative comes in, I got talking with him, he's a cool guy. He comes in and checks out what we have stock of, asks us if we want him to replace it, and asks if were interested in anything else.

Then he showed me how he places the order. He does it online at wurth.ca, he never sees the stock. It gets purolated over to us from a big warehouse.

I'm also starting a business. I have a resellers liscense, Tax ID number, and business liscense, I can use them in any state nationwide. Why would you need one just for cali, if you live in Jersey? i know a shop in maryland that i'm gonna be ordering from.

www.forperformance.com

they sell the real deal!! no apc bullshit, they have garette, tein, and all the real brands, they also sell retail too, not just wholesale.

thanks for the info. I'd figure I'd give it a shot. Working for a sales job for HKS or some big company is the job I wanted to do(But I'll try this while in school). But, until that, for now to try and regain some fo the money for the car fund, I'm gonna try and take the risk.

Thanks for all the help.
