I'm looking for some good sandals. Every place I go always seems to have the same booty selection, and I've decided I can splurge on this and buy a really nice pair. So tell me what you guys think are the nicest, where I can get em, and how much they will run me.

Thanks!

rx7machine 07-19-2003 12:59 PM

I'd go with what FikseRxSeven said, and get one's you know that your happy with, just incase the sandals start hurting your feet.

You probably don't have any good surf shops in OH. This is what I have, cost about 50 bucks, last forever, form to your feet the more you wear them, and look a lot better than sneakers. These are called ocean minded, bought them when I still lived at the beach in NC.

rx7machine 07-19-2003 01:26 PM

Ocean minded.. I've gotta remember that..

donhayes 07-19-2003 01:31 PM

i got this pair of nike sandals at kohl's that are called "shindy plus". They are the most comfortable sandles i've ever worn.

TYSON 07-19-2003 03:53 PM

I have some from Reebok. They suck.

Birkenstocks are supposed to be nice...

papasmurf 07-19-2003 04:13 PM

depends on how much u wanna spend on things. birks are great and about 80-100 depeding on stlye. if you go any higher for sandals you get the same thing as birks just with a little different feel, such as d&g, which are supposedly rugged.

FrestyleFC3S 07-19-2003 06:33 PM

i have a pair of ocean minded and a pair of birkenstocks...theyre both nice

Nemesis 07-19-2003 07:41 PM

I have some Adidas sandals with the little massagers on them, they rule.

DJ Blu 07-19-2003 11:58 PM

i bought a fake pair of berkenstocks about 3 years ago. I've worn them just about everyday during the summer, so they look like crap, are horribly worn out, and smell so horrible, but they're finally comfy. Its my first pair of comfy sandles ever...

REEF! they are soo comfortable and look real cool. i've had my pair for over two years, they are strong and durable. never gotten a single blister, and the sole is like 1" thick, nice and soft. they have survived 3 summers a schlitterbahn. coming from a lifeguard (me), i know a good pair of sandles...and a good pair of boobs (.)(.)

REEF! definitely worth the $25 investment, you can get them at most surf shops, or check here:

if you really want sandals...... i would go with what nemesis says........ those are pretty cool for walkin around the house and ****

Dramon_Killer 07-20-2003 06:12 PM

I've got some teva's and i love em. Use em for backpacking and hiking all the time. Not too stylish tho.

helihansen 07-20-2003 06:17 PM

sandals are gay cant run fast enough with them. ( Forgive me im all about goin fast and lookin good) Plus it always seems thats what the frat guys wear out to the bar. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

FikseRxSeven 07-20-2003 06:34 PM

hahaha, why would i run when i can drive fast

RX7Aggie 07-20-2003 08:12 PM

they're hard to drive in, especially with the clutch and all. i usually have to take then off to drive, which gets annoying, but oh well

94touring 07-20-2003 08:25 PM

I can drive in my sandals just fine, matter of fact thats what I wore when I drove the moving truck 30 hours across the country. I wear them with my pants when I can get away with it too. Plus sneakers and shorts doesn't always look good.

FrestyleFC3S 07-20-2003 08:53 PM

i cant drive a stick too well with sandals...automatic is fine

they tend to flop down and give me no support when pressing and depressing the clutch.... it messes up when im shifting

lane_change 07-21-2003 04:09 AM

I will second the REEF's. I have had mine for over a year now and I love them. I bought them last time I was in Hawaii at a local surf shop and wear them all the time.

Go with Core sandals though....I am not a fan of leather.

rotorhead23 07-21-2003 07:45 PM

Go with Rainbow sandals. They are 2 tone leather and they conform to your feet. I've had myne for about 3 years, and they are still holding together. They run about $40-50 and you can get them from places like Pacific Sunwear. Only bad part is the sizes. They come in small, medium, large, and x-large.
