I'm assuming that's because the TR-3 chassis is a tad fragile, and not because the TR-3 engine is an unnaturally ferocious rip-snortin' stump-puller?
well kinda both? the MGB engine wheezes out like 78hp, with a cam, high compression pistons, bigger carbs, a header and some head work, it *might* put out like 85hp. the TR engine, makes 110hp stock, the vintage race people are making like 180hp@7800rpm! its kind of like the rotary too, you dont change much, its a lot of careful assembly, and a little porting. and the TR is light too, so power is fine. |
LOL MGB'S ! ! !

What issues are you having? I'm running the JTR headers with a custom built system back from there. We were able to fit an H-pipe and high flow cats along with dual Borla mufflers. It tucks up nicely. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures. |
problem is im broke lol and living in the lowest paying unemployment compensation state so money is tight and im using some aftermarket carb legal headers that is making my life a living hell. they came with this motor.
