the new house, super busy doing things, here is the livingroom before and during, have to take some after pics, ripped everything out, drop ceiling, paneling, rugs. Put new wiring, framed it out, new header so I could get rid of the beams in the front of the livingroom, widened the entryway to the kitchen, etc.... Still no where near done with the rest of the house, but I have a lifetime to get it done, lol
Bet you guys were hoping for some car pics, sorry! this pic was a week before we got the house, thats the previous owner's crap there |

Nice, that stuff is not fun, well maybe on your own house....

I just unplugged my camera, pics of the garage coming up soon, along some after pics of the livingroom.
My GF picked out that Ralph Lauren Suede paint for one wall, it came out nice, Ill see if it shows up in pics. It looks and feels like suede. |

Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Doesn't look like much fun either LOL

Looks nice! And I thought we were doing a lot, with paint/flooring/light fixtures!
https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683621.gif I hate the Ralph Lauren paint. I used to work in a cabinet shop, and we were doing all these cabinets for this huge house, all done in Ralph Lauren paint. I don't know if you guys know how hard it is to prep wood to look "slicker than owl ****," but that was my job. Then we found out that the paint took a long time to cure, which resulted in many chips, nicks, and dents https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png . |
Looks good, doing DRYWALL SUXS!
|
I finished the livingroom, minus some moldings and heaters, paint is on there, some furniture is in there as well.
Baldy- tell me about it, $2400 the first day in light fixtures and paint and things like that. Another $600 in drywall,studs,hardware.... it adds up fast. Good thing im not paying for labor. Drywall required very little sanding, when properly applied not much needs to be sanded after. Ralph Lauren paint is good and dry, I guess if you put it on all at once and dont let it dy between coats it would take a long time to dry. |
