Hard to think it's been 6 years. I bought my 1989 Mazda Rx-7 TurboII all stock in noble white June of 2006. Crazy how time flies.

In the 6 years I:

-graduated with a bachelor of sciences in engineering

-went through 3 summer internships at engineering places

-work full time at a aerospace engineering company

-spent about 11k into the rx7 including the purchase price of the car

-went through 2 girl friends

-bought and paid off a new Subaru Legacy GT.

I still remember the 1st day I came home with the rx7... I couldn't even drive stick at the time. i was so excited.

I didn't have a car yet.

I bought my '01 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 that year.

I was still living at my dad's house, but moved in with my future wife and her parents by the end of the year, I think.

I was in my 1st year at the community college (I graduate May 6th, almost there!).

That was the year I found out my future wife was pregnant.

I was working in the same office I work now (nto physical location, but you get the point).

Don't remember much else.

Six years ago, I wasn't married, and didn't have two sons. Since 2001 I have also moved twice, bought a new MPV, and an old Chevy II. Come to think of it, I guess I bought the T2 not much after that. I guess it was in early 2002.

I think back 6 years ago and I feel proud of what I have done.

I can only hope the next 6 bring the same if not better results!
