Down here south LA. we have dark coffee in our baby bottles. We have the New Olreans blends with Chickory, the awsome Community Coffees and then the other worldly brands. All the fancy bohemian coffee shops sell coffees, but then Starbuck shows up and there has been a line at the drive through for 6 months!

I lived on the west coast years ago and have had Starbucks...all flavors. I really must say it not that great.

I am blown away by people spending $7 bucks for a single cup everyday. I would think pound of "good" coffee at home plus the fact that you can go to your reading room if you get the urge is better than spending your annual tax return on that stuff....

I'm with you 100%. I'll make my coffee at home thank you (got a big bag of whole bean Kona--mmmmm).

I make my own, and only splurge if it involves a woman and/or an all-nighter.

for me its right next to work, so i can get mah coffee, and drink it on the clock.

We have a "coffe snobs" club, we buy a quality bean and grind our own for each pot. The funny thing is that it costs less than the brown primordial sludge from the brakroom coffee club service AND costs less.

We had the same thing here when the first Krispy Kreme opened. People standing in line all day.
