So here in colorado these are my choices, 85,87,91 octane. Which fuel would my 7 be happiest with, i assume 91 but some vehicles around here have taken damage running that fuel. BTW never thought that was true until I saw a chrysler engine hurt itself royally on 91, owners manual said not to run it but some people don't listen. Looked in the manual for my ride but saw nothing about what should be ran in it.

turbo or non?

non turbo is prolly best on 87, but 85 should be ok.

turbo you want the highest

Then that is what she will get!!! Especially since I can drive it now...plated! $72.00 for title and plates, and insurance is dirt cheap, I love this car

Sure it would, but you would probably annihilate the motor. You know, that boggles my mind right now, what would happen if somebody did that? 6gazillion rwhp!!!!!!

Isn't rocket fuel liquid oxygen?

jds88vert 01-26-2007 08:58 PM

Well lets not make my ride the lab rat here, I'll watch. Man that would be fun though

lots of rotaries run 116 octane.

its race gas, nothing special bout it really, just gas with a high octane, resists detonation better cause it burns slower.

I have been using 100octane fuel, because there is no fuel under 95octane in Turkey https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif but I haven't any problem my engine...

jds88vert 01-28-2007 04:34 PM

Well that's cool for 2 resons, first that is a great fuel to run on full time and if it doesn't cause damage that is even better, that car would be sad if it had to run on 85 like here, but I have been running 87 or better myself
