the phrase "half in the bag?"

Half drunk?

when you fall down the stairs and no one is there to help you at the bottom, so you just sit there crying. and then the big guy who lives down there hears you and socks you because your being too loud, and then you just have to lay there forever.

"half in the bag" = "dude i almost had you!"

almost had ME? you never had me, you never had your car.
