well seeing as how kawi and everyone else on the planet calls them "ninja 636's", i dont think it like calling an R1 a yamaha 1000.

hmm wow didnt know that, since kawi's site said 6r. cycle sports calls it the 6r. it may say how many cc's it is btu so does every other bike.

yea but the decals on the bike actually say "Ninja 636", doesnt matter i guess but ive never heard it called anything else, even when we take it for service

My buddies that ride (and some magazine writers) actually reccomend going with a litre bike instead of the current 600's, as the extra torque makes them easier to ride at a relaxed pace.
