i do not know how much truth can be had there, but it sure makes an interesting point. however, i have seen many look like a sun warped frisbee....

i think what happens is the same as a clutch, you get a little bit of pad material that becomes a high spot, and then that can heat the disc unevenly.

huh... kinda interesting, I have heard this rumor before...that disks don't warp

well, they do, but i have only really seen a warped disc on a car that has been on the track for numerous hours and laps. that will really put it to the test, residual heat that is.......and we all know that using the e brake on a very hot brake rotor is not good....
