to make sure you dont download a hockey game check the file name instead of just the program name, i've had **** like that happen way too many times as well, although i must admit i normally laugh about it afterwards.

I have a 2.5 mps connection and it ranges from 1.6 mps to 2.5 mps, late at night I get 2.5 no prob, I don't think I would be able to survive on 200kps, that's like isdn or something.

200kps is my file transfer rate, actual speed is often over 1.5Mbps depending on tweaking...it's just optimum online cable

this is after the connection is split to my laptop, basement computer, and computer in the kitchen, one of the slower connects i've had on this comp, prolly because i have kazaa open atm.
