Its not photochopped, and scram jet engines are what takes in air in one end and sends it out the other as propulsion.
http://www.pokerrunsamerica.com/articles/master.html http://www.weldingfaq.com/turbine2.asp some other sites with people using the same turbine engines. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
i bet he can't drift it though.
|
e-brake?
|
I think i would add working wings to the car and fly it around. That would be bad ass...
|
I see no seat....

You'd have to have some sort of gearbox attached - you'd never be able to turn a corner if you're just blowing air out the back.
Mark |
thats why its only for the salt flats.
|
lol... how you gonna set up a gear box to a jet engine? The power is from thrust.
If you want to turn, you turn down the thrust then turn. Its the same way jets turn. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif |

Anyway, the turbines with gearboxes are called turboprops, and have a propellor instead of a fan. Mark |
word.

That guy lives about 30 miles from me. He has (in order of newest projects to oldest) an 03 eclipse, Dodge Dakota, Datsun 280z, and 2 MR2s.
I was gonna say he's in polk county IA we ought to pay him a visit. If it's who I'm thinking it is he was the looney that put the jet engines in that old Pulsar or MR2 awhile back. |

Mark
there are also Shaft-Turbine engines.... it's what we use on helicopters. Has a big ole gearbox on the front end of it. |
