These are from 2002, but I just got a new PC and converted them to digital. Mike at vintagerotaries.com has been nice to host them. One is from Hyper-fest at Summit Point JC, and the other is The Roadster Factory auto-x. What do you think?

damn, that is the perfect setup. reliable as hell too |
Hope to get it painted in about a month. Body work is about done. Just finished up making the dash. Made a console for it this past weekend shown below. Just need to do a few small things before paint, but they seem to take for ever. I now work 4, 10hr days so i have off on Fridays which will help.
Next little thing is to make wheel well liners to keep out the 5lbs of rocks that got stuck inside the fenders. That is this weekends project.... http://www.vintagerotaries.com/FORUM...h_switches.jpg |

That got the blood pumpin! We camp out at this event with about 20 other Baltimore MG club members and boy did we party that night https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/beerchug.gif When she is all put back, I'll give out rides like a carney! |

Sounds as if that car has to have some serious brakes.

I'd like to do the next Hyper-fest. It was fun. Mazderati - the brakes are 11.75" X 1.25" Willwood ultralight rotors and Wilwood Dynalite calipers up front. Stock Mazda GSL-SE rear brakes (10" X .8" vented rotors). I have pics at home. Trust me, they work real well and I was never able to fade them even running as deep as I could into the corners. And I didn't even have the brake cooling ducts hooked up! |
That's Awesome!

I meant to imply that by reading your description of the car's weight and brake set-up that it must stop on a dime. I'm not sure if that is what you got out of it. Just thought I would clarify.
Again, great job. |

Not a rotary 7 I'm afraid, (although technically I could still choose what engine to put in it) I'm going with motorbike power instead to keep the weight down and for the sequential gearbox https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I would definitely consider rotary though if petrol here wasn't so expensive and there were more donors around here (Ireland).
Mark That thing was quick. Good luck! |
Bloody hell that is light!!!! I thought I'd be doing well if I get it below 500kgs (1100lbs). I honestly can't imagine the speed that car must go (and yours by the looks of things).
