You just gave me a flash back of when I use to do that with my 93 Pathfinder. I loved smoking those big ass tires, and then $3500 later for a new tranny made me stop. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

You're freakin insane, Jon.

I can't get the back end of my C30 Dooley to break loose for nothing. I think it needs a fuel pump. And nitrous. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Node 12-20-2002 01:10 PM

LOL

Vosko, you're losing it. You need to get a big rig burnout vid.

vosko 12-20-2002 02:03 PM

I wish... my Bravada (S10 Blazer re-badged by Olds) is AWD with Smarttracktm

Speaking of, got it high centered yesterday at the mall, bent the main chassis crossbrace like it was 24 AWG wire.

UniqueTII 12-20-2002 02:23 PM

What were you trying to drive over at the mall?

vosko 12-20-2002 02:24 PM

how the hell did you manage that ?

Sinful7 12-20-2002 02:31 PM

Uh, I couldn't figure out how to get from the lower parking lot to the higher parking lot, so up and over the grassy knoll I went! As soon as the front wheels hit the higher lot, there was a massive BANG and everything in my center console (including our drinks) jumpe 11 inches up and landed in our laps.

Lesson: go up at an angle/I don't have as much ground clearance as I thought.

vosko 12-20-2002 02:37 PM

i already climbed over some giant curbs in my truck. no problem. but my truck is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. your blazer isn't really for offroading.... lol

Sinful7 12-20-2002 02:53 PM

I suppose not... but it sure is fun!!!

Coincidently, the brakes started making a LOT of noise immediately after. I think I knocked a shim loose.. Time for a brake job !!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

j9fd3s 12-20-2002 02:56 PM

or maybe you bent the e brake cables?

mike

Sinful7 12-20-2002 03:00 PM

Doubt it. noise was from the front.. I only hit the crossmember, anyhow. It did it's job and saved my transfer case/prop shaft/drive shaft/transmission/bellhousing/gas lines, so i'm happy!

vosko 12-20-2002 04:25 PM

that's why you have a warranty https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Sinful7 12-20-2002 05:58 PM

Ha, right... it's a '92

vosko 12-20-2002 06:02 PM

doh... they made those in 92. i didn't know that. my blazer is only a 86 but it looks like a 76 :bigthumg:

j9fd3s 12-20-2002 06:03 PM

it could be a 96 if you had it painted

mike

vosko 12-20-2002 06:05 PM

even if i washed it. it would look newer. its so freaking dirty!
