so ive driven a couple lately, and um they suck.
first was a 2003 mustang gt, floor it in 1st, turn corner, NOTHING happens, tires dont break loose, nary a peep. same corner with a heavy torqueless rx8, tires make noise, car gets a little squirrely. does the mustang have traction control? next v8 was a dodge van, it was quick up to like 40, then it had nothin, again i'm used to the rotary that keeps pulling and pulling and pulling. |
I moved from a z28 camaro(I know) to a 84 GSL-SE that was stock. The Rx-7 was WAY more fun... That is just my opinion though, I like higher revs.

Yah, most V8's I've known are pretty punchy off the line, then disappoint as you wind 'em out. I'm looking forward to getting the fresh 350 into the Chevy II I'm working on. I have a feeling it won't have any trouble getting the back tires loose. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

The only V-8 powered cars i will ever think about buying are muscle cars and ford explorer v-8's that are from 00' and below. I just cant live with out my SUV's because of my life style the RX only fits in when going fast or taking a girl out on the town.

v8's are boring. small displacement motors are entertaining.
