I figured you'd just credit me with the benefit of the doubt and just tell me how much more power and what's available for the V-6 that I might not be aware of...

KLDE in stock trim puts out about 135 whp, compared to about 105 whp on the stock FSDE in the protege. KLZE puts down about 165 whp stock, around 200 whp n/a modded. Boosted, they usually put down 250-300 whp at 7-8 psi on a t3/t04E.

FSDE = US/Can 2.0l I4 from the protege, 626, mx6, and probe

KLDE = US/Can 2.5l V6 from 626, mx6, milennia, probe

KLZE = j-spec 2.5l V6

Everyone should have a KLZE in their daily beaters.

superdave 12-09-2008 01:51 PM

Its just a klde swap for now. klze w/ itb's and stand alone are in its future though. should make it a more fun daily summer beater.

Ive got ITB's in development for the kl engines. You can expect them spring of 09.

What size throttle bodies are you going to use, and where are you sourcing them from? Guys in PR are using busa throttle bodies with good results. I need more infos https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.gif
