I actually think there was once an engine for those. It was a generator or something.



a friend of mine was telling me about them at his old work like 30 years ago. he said that the company that made them wouldn't let anyone work on them except their own people. pretty cool

the guy that i talked to said if they had to service the engines they had to do it on site because they were too large to haul around.



he said when they were rebuilding one of them they let him stand in and watch. the rotor housing are big enough for a small man to stand in.



he also said that they had to use a fork lift with the e-shaft and the counterweight.
