Like the title says, I'm going to be driving from South Carolina to California in February to go work for Speed Machine Performance. My planned route is I-20 until I get to where it meets I-10

I'm looking to make a stopover in Jackson, MS, Dallas, TX and then somewhere about 1/2 way between Dallas and Tuscon, AZ. I already have Dallas covered (BDC) but I'm wondering if there is anyone that would be willing to let me crash overnight in Jackson and my other scheduled stop?

It will just be me and my 10AE. There are a number of people on the board who can speak for me if you need any background.

Anyway, I'll fill in more as I know an exact date. I just wanted to put a feeler out to see if there was any interest in helping a fellow rotorhead out.

Thanks,

Reese

Yup, I'm driving. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than shipping it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Banzai, y'know, I didn't even THINK about going to find that little fucker, VICTOR SALINAS. Unfortunately, it's probably quite a bit out of my way. The police pretty much dropped the ball as far as I'm concerned. $900.00 didn't mean **** to them...

Amy, thanks for the invite, but FL is definitely not on the planned route. Maybe another time! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

lean it out more, and go for 20+ mpg! it'll run to like 15.2afr..... my best was 19.9mpg....

nota944 11-30-2005 05:58 PM

I'm working on that. I'm not sure what I changed, but I've had to modify your maps a bit ever since I pulled the thermowax, etc off the TB. BDC is going to take a look at the maps as well to offer some tips.

Where were you pulling your O2 readings from, Mike? Stock sensor location? I just put my wideband there the other day but haven't had the chance to drive it since. If I can even manage to get 250 miles per tank, I'll be pretty happy. 20/gallon would give me 300 per tank. That would kick ass! It's roughly 2400 miles to get there, so that would mean only 8 tanks of gas (approximately $300 total at $2.50/gallon) versus 12 tanks at 200 miles per tank (about $450 total). I'm figuring high on prices just so I'm not caught short, BTW.

I would invest in a chastity belt or possibly some iron underwear if you stay with steve. If he penetrates ya in your sleep you wont even feel it until the syphilis kicks in and yer carrying his illigitimate love child named who you'll name steve junior, but will grow up to be a wannabe white rapper called lil' steve-o and steve sr. will never pay the child support.

Sinful7 11-30-2005 10:18 PM

Hey! That's all hearsay!

yep stock location. on the way to sevenstock6 i got 19.9mpg, i think we had to stop once? there was room for improvement too, and i made some, but never really got any more highway miles on it.

you're nuts btw!

Tessai 12-01-2005 02:52 AM

I'm in Dallas, TX... but don't have an extra place, sorry!

I could possibly get ya lunch or something, though. Hit me up with a PM.

trianglepower 12-01-2005 06:53 AM

Well if you continue through Jackson on I-20, you get to Meridian and I am a 30mi N detour if you are interested. PM me for more info. Also what are the dates for this trip.
