Maybe if the FMIC is huge then paint it.Why make your cold air flow warm when it doesn't have to be????Just leave it silver unless it a huge ass one.Got to keep the air as cold as possible.

how bout a coat of flat black paint... I have read about some type of paint the helps heat dissipate too.. and it was black..

If the aluminum was anodized or painted with a specialized paint the heat distribution properties of the intercooler would not be negatively affected.

Most ppl that don't know **** about cars will think its a radiator, ppl who do know about cars will notice regardless of its color. How about get a stock location IC like the FD, thats sleeper ****.

I have an FD, and stock mounts=heat soak. That, and I want to have as little in the engine bay as possible.

Black anodized would improve heat transfer.
