basically ever since i have had the car the sunroof will not go all the way back, it will rise up and the left side will keep going but the right side stays but, im pretty sure that the tracks on the right are rusted up and wont move, should i tear it open and try to clean the right side? or do you think its the motor? and btw it clicks when ever you try to use the motor beyond where it will move, thanks!

When I was having sunroof problems, I was told the motor either works or it doesn't, there is no "sort of works", and that it's usually the tracks messed up.

But if you think it's the motor, you can try opening it using the crank (most cars don't have it), or a large allen key, in the hole under a small cover in the roof.

Disassembling the whole assembly isn't terribly difficult, but it is tedious. If you remove the headliner (all one piece, the fabric is glued to a sort of fiberboard), you'll see how the whole sunroof assembly is bolted to the roof.

I would try lubing it however you can, maybe spraying some PB blaster in the tracks as best you can and letting it sit overnight before trying it out again. Try not to let any lube get into any of the interior, it'll most likely make your car stink for quite some time.
