what exacly is street porting?

and is it hard to do?

i read about it somewhere and my friend said its the first thing you should do when tuning a rotary

A street port should get you a 15% gain in power. I know it did for me. I am making the same power at 10 PSI that I was at 15 PSI before the street port.
