I've never ever seen a car like that, but that definitely looks like a pimp/gangster car from the 20s or something! (Referring to the Tucker).

See the movie about Tucker then do some research on a car called the Miller and you'll begin to hate the big 3 automakers in the US. Their Moto?? Cant beat them fair and square play dirty. Tucker was taken out because he posed a threat to the big 3 he car was years ahead of theirs at the time. Miller built a FWD Indy car that kicked the crap out of anyything and everything on the track at the time. It wasnt a matter IF a Miller would win it was WHICH ONE? They were sweeping field every time out. The big 3 decided that a rule needed to me made to ban them. Forget developing a car to beat it fair and square just ban it and move on. Indy did just that they banned the Miller from races so the big 3 could start winning again. Here is a History on the Miller if you feel like doing some reading. BTW - Miller ended up teaming with Tucker at one point in time. http://www.milleroffy.com/Racing%20History...#Miller_History Poke around here lots of good info on the Miller. Imagine this guy developed a 500HP car in the 30's. http://www.milleroffy.com/ |
