Ingredients you will need:

*Squeze bottle of hot fudge

*Can of whipped cream

*one cherry

*one banana

*one one hundred dollar bill.

Go to nearest nudy bar. Buy a table dance. Go to secluded corner. Whip out ingredients with a big smile and lick your lips. Insert banana gently being careful not to smush, you may need to reinster several times. Whoops, peel banana and reinsert ...again. Add chocolate vigorously. Spray wipped cream. hahhaa Thank you for the massive laugh!!!

lxk199 05-06-2003 10:41 PM

OK here's a long one, but its awesome. My favorite dish, from my home country of Brasil: Feijoada!

What you will need:

2 8 oz. cans of Bush's Black Beans ( or any black beans in water)

2 pounds of sausage (any kind you like, but I use lean turkey sausage, one smoked, one not)

1 large onion, diced

4 Tablespoons of minced garlic (or to taste)

2 cups of rice

2 bunches of collard greens

1 pound of bacon

Some Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

BEANS-Put the beans (and the water from their cans) in a large saucepan. Add 2 canfuls of water and set heat to med/hi and allow to boil. Add half the diced onion and half the minced garlic to beans. Cut sausage into slices about 1/2 inch thick. When water begins to boil, add the sausage and salt and pepper. Let this boil until it thickens (if the broth is still thin, mash some beans with a spoon and then put them back in to thicken). This will take about 45 minutes to cook. Put on low heat to keep warm. While this is boiling, start cooking the rice. Rice Cookers are best, but pans are fine too.

COLLARD GREENS-Cut the stems out of the center of the leaves, leaving the leaves in one piece (make your cuts right next to the stem, then just snap it out). Roll about 5-10 leaves up into a roll (like a roll of dollar bills) and slice from one end into 1" wide strips. Repeat until all greens are sliced in this manner. This will give you nice strips of greens. Cut the bacon (all of it) into smal strips, or dice it. Cook all of it up and keep it warm, with some of the grease left in the pan. Put some olive oil in another frying pan, enough to cover the bottom. Heat the oil, then sautee the rest of the onion and the rest of the garlic in the oil. When this is done, start adding greens to this pan. They will reduce a lot (when you first cut them they take up a lot of room, but once cooked, they get smaller) so just keep adding them until all the greens are in the pan (it will be a lot of greens so use a big pan). The Greens will be ready when they have gotten a real dark shade of green and are soft. Add the bacon to the greens and mix well.

This will serve 2-4 people, depending how much they eat. Serve beans/sausage over rice, and greens next to that.

Enjoy, and make sure to tell me how it turns out if you make it!

~Leo~

Another good one is a chicken alfredo recipe of mine

get some boneless chicken strips

alfredo sauce (I like Bertolli or Classico myself)

chopped walnuts

get some good fettucine, not the boxed kind. It should come in a sealed plastic container.

make up the following creole seasoning

· 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika

· 2 tablespoons salt

· 2 tablespoons garlic powder

· 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

· 1 tablespoon onion powder

· 1 tablespoon cayenne

· 1 tablespoon dried oregano

· 1 tablespoon dried thyme

OK, first off, get the water for the fettucine going and heat up a grill for the chicken.

To prepare the chicken, I pour olive oil in a pan and mix in the creole seasoning. use a good deal, but not so much as it starts to clump. you want more oil here.

Now drop in the chicken, roll it around so it gets covered

Toss in the pasta once the water is boiling.

Pasta should be done at about the same time as the chicken is, so toss the chicken on the grill.

Cook the chicken until its at 160 degrees fahrenheit (measured away from a heat source)

Take up the fettucine after its recommended cook time is up, drain it, serve on a plate, place the chicken on top, pour alfredo sauce on to your liking, the top with walnuts to the same degree.

Enjoy https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png. And that creole seasoning is great on lots of other things too. I even have a scrambled egg recipe with it mixed in.

and what do you use for water on a stove? a paper plate?

kevin [/quote]

Most people use pots.

Here's my chili recipe:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 pound hot italian sausage

2 peppers (bell)

1 large white onion

ground cumin

pepper

Frank's Red Hot

3 large cans crushed tomatos

2 small cans tomato paste

3 cans spiced kidney beans

1 can beer

Brown the meat, drain the grease, then add the rest of the stuff in and cook until it thickens up and the veggies get cooked. Spice to taste.

Now for dessert:

Mix 4 eggs, 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter and 2 cups Hersheys syrup. Bake in large sheet pan at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Let cool

Mix 3 cups confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract, and 1 1/2 sticks butter until it turns into an icing like paste. Put on cooled bottom layer.

Melt 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3 squares unsweetened baker's chocolate, and 1 stick butter until lumps are gone. Spread on bottom 2 layers.

Prepare to go into sugar shock.
