I think i got the job, going to go out on the boat on the next charter and run it, but it sounds like it's mine. It's a 62 foot boat, it's about 150 feet from my boat so my commute will be nice and short, it is literally the busiest charter boat in the area, they have 2 boats and are eventually looking for someone to come into the business as a partial owner. Pays me $20 per hour plus tips and the owners seem very cool. Plus what more could they ask for I live right here next to the boat and can take care of it if an emergency arrises, i know everyone in the marina, etc, etc....



Good gig really, it's hard to get into running a busy boat like that, they don't hire often, but I am one of the few around with a masters license, which is required for more then 6 passengers (they take out up to 30).

What happens when a hurricane hits and you're living in your boat? Serious question.

how does insurance work on this... are you covered for liabilities under the owner or do you have to have your own...
