And all of a sudden 6 cop cars fly down the road, 2 on the other end and the helicopter light hits me..Didn't get a ticket but DAMN, it was quite the rush.. I was not driving my car..It was at that kasota road in mpls, by 280...

i dont really street race like you guys, because the news always does these "in depth" reports about street racing and makes it seem like we are killers or drug dealers!

get used to it, it gonna end up like here where they have whole cities you cant be in after dark. ive seen the cops close off entire blocks and then process all 400 people.

agreed! Only the news teams in Denver followed some riceboys to the "races" in the industial area. The "races" they covered had about 5 Hondas in them, 8 people MAX. They don't know where the real **** happens, LOL.



Fox made it out to be this HUGE BRAKING STORY, and showed the footage of these mostly stock hondas, and I lauged my ASS off! It's good that the cops around here think that big stickers and 19" wheels mean the driver is dangerous.. They don't bother me in the FD, regardless of my young age and the size of my exhaust.

What was so scary was it was on a 1/4 and at each end it turned, so it was a U shape. So I'm near one end then all the cops fly around all of a sudden like 100ft from me. I was going to run on foot, but there was just WAY too many. I didn't have my ID on me so i got taken out and searched, the cop was like, "yea how much do you think it costs to get that helicopter out here for you **** heads?"



As I left I saw cars busted along the road that had tried to run, a couple ppl that were racing look like they were getting cuffed..

Yeah I went to some yesterday night too, first time for me. Unfortunately there aren't many notable cars in my area, there were mostly rustangs, camaros, and hondas out there. The only 7 that was out there (other than my stock ass) as this FD that I saw roll up, but i didn't have a chance to talk to him since we were leaving to go watch a race between a mustang and a WRX on nitrous.



Anyways, we get to the racing spot and this train of about 25 cars is following us (so much for being low pro.) and about 1 minute after we park some lone cop hits his lights and everyone bones out. So then we go to another spot (WAAAYYYY the hell away) only for it to get broken up again. Then we spend another hour just trying to find a spot to race at. Finally we find some main road (by this time it was about 2:30) and the WRX wins by like half a car length... lucky little bitch he was, that mustang got the jump on him.

the report they just had was after somebody crashed their stock lancer (not evo) into a tree in the middle of a divider (two lanes on either side of the road divided by trees) God you have to be a shitty driver to hit a tree on the side of a straight road going 75mph.



So they went to the "street races" and there were kids in their parents mercadies and BMW's and acuras there racing. Not to mention all the azz dragzas in their hondas. it was really funny.
