There is some snow on the ground here in Oregon. My 7 has bald tires and no chains, and I still don't have a beater to replace my Integra, so I've been gettting a tour of the city on foot. Heh, do you drive your 7 in the snow? I already f@#ked mine up putting it in the ditch in the rain so I'm not even going to try driving it in the snow.

where are you from? in your profile it says you came from your old integra ls

I put my RX7 away for winter.
I'm basically rebuilding the car over the course of winter, so, LOL. Can't wait to drive it come May 2004. In the meantime I was driving my cavalier, and then I found a daytona for dirt cheap that was about a million times better than my cavalier, so I bought it up. I really miss RWD though. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png |
i got a crappy set of hancook snowtires for my GXL a few years ago when i was in vermont. I never had a single problem. vermont winters are a lot more severe than jersey ones thats for sure.
so get yourself a good pair of tires for the rear and you should be absolutely fine. |
we were just driving in the oregon snow, i think you want rwd with no traction control, one of the cars we had up there was a fwd audi with traction control and snow tires and basically you have the choice to go straight, where the rwd cars you can go backwards too, its quite liberating

I drove the FC today in the slush and it wasn't so bad. Some dude in with a truck at my apartment complex was telling me not to drive it because he thought that it was too dangerous. He wasn't a very daring individual. Ha ha, having rwd was great. I was surprised how well the car worked in the snow. Being light with a decent wheel base must have helped. I didn't see any miatas driving around, just Suv's and Hondas.
