Is a small amount of water in the oil normal ? I'm buying a RX7 S1 Gen 2 with a 12A with Race Extend porting ! & it has a white substace in the oil due to a small amount of water in the oil. My rotary mechanics assure me that its normal & is due condensation & goes away when normal operating temperature is reached. I am not sure of this & would like anouther opinion. Thanx if you could reply to "lenny2damax@hotmail.com" it would be greatly appreciated. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

The water system is supposed to be a closed system and so is the oil. So with that said, if there is water in the oil it is because it got there somehow. I would personally say that it means that there is a small leak somewhere. But I guess if he left the oil cap off in a rain storm with the hood up it could have gotten some moisture in it that way. I had a 1st Gen for 3 years and never had any water or condinsation in the oil. Those are just my thoughts and I could be wrong. But I would be werry about the car.

I would agree, shouldnt be any wa-wa in the oil. Small leak, that will only get bigger. Save up for the rebuild kit https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

If you buy the car save for a new rebuild kit...and a new mechanic.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif
