It's sleeting here. The ground isn't below freezing so there is no real accumulation, except for elevated roads (bridges/overpasses). 283? After 100, you'd think you could see the huge plooms of smoke up ahead. After 200, you'd think the drivers would've already heard about it on the radio. Geez. Was fog involved?

If it ever sleets/snows/ices over here, im parking my car until its over. These people cant drive when its warm and dry. When it gets wet and warm, there are wrecks all over the place. I couldnt even imagine if ice, snow, or freezing rain was involved.

Well I don't think it was the kind of pileup that has a bunch of death and mayhem... just a bunch of little fender benders. I don't think there were any death or even serious injury.
