As many noticed we were down for a bit this morning, crazy huh? Well for those that are new here we have extremely minimal downtime, with the exceptions of the hacks last year on our old server this server has gone 6 and 8 months between reboots.



Anyhow that said the reason we were down was some optimizations to mysql which i am still in the middle of finishing.



The good news is things will be faster, the even better news is that you can now search for 2 letter works in the past things like TPS were unsearchable as there was a 4 character minimum. you should also notice a speed increase in the amount of time it takes to execute a search.
