how old do you have to be to be a salesperson at a car dealership? just wondering

My guess is 18. I don't mean to sound like an ass... But they'll more than likely put you in a secretorial type of position. It would probably be a shock to the average wealthy middle-aged individual to see a girl your age trying to sell them a Lamborghini.

Unless she studies up on the car and actually knows her ****. I would be impressed is just once a salesman could actually answer all my questions without having to run away and consult with someone else.



I asked what the BHP was on the Audi I was buying. Salesman had no clue and had to ask. I cannot understand why its so difficult to know your product line inside and out.



Know the car inside and out and you'll be an asset to the dealership.

It's sadly true though... At your age, you'd have to overcome the "appearance" with an impecable knowledge about the cars.
