Okay, so the wifey and I picked up this little deuce back in September. The original 327 is a bit ragged out. What say we go ahead and put a nice turbo rotary in it? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Seriously, we're leaning toward a nice 350 crate motor. Unfortunately, it may pull some funds away from the Turbo II. I better order that Atkins street port soon.

Yeah, I took a look at that. He actually had another bimmer coupe behind that one. The guy had a lot of cars he was looking to get rid of. I think the neighbors were getting on his case.

Good deal. I think that will be a nice change of pace.It looks like a rotary....it must be the nonrunning on a trailer thing.

Good luck , it should be cool!

Haha. Yeah. It actually is running, but still has a few issues. I just couldn't get it cranked that day when I picked it up, so I had to push it onto the trailer. I've gone through the distributor, wired the choke plates open, put new gas and new plugs in it. Had to rebuild the entire front suspension. Runs well enough now to smoke both rears at half throttle.

Interesting link about these cars here: Road racing Novas in Oz

I wonder how much time and money will be required to get it looking like this:

I know I wouldn't be interested in the same kind of probe you're looking for, fella! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

Thanks! I was beginning to think that the appeal of classic American Muscle was lost on these rotorheads. I love the balance and sophistication of the RX-7, but there's something very appealing about the simplicity and brute force of the 60's muscle cars. And there's no worry about getting this thing through state inspection--it will be registered as an antique vehicle.
