Hey guys... I'm about to purchase my 2nd set of GramLight Pros... My current GramLights are 17x8 all around with a 35mm Offset. I am selling them to get another set... going with 17x9 in the rear, and the RMC (Rays Metal Coat)finish https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

My question is what is the biggest offset i can go with in the rear?? I want the lip to be as wide as possible.

Offest Options for 17x9.0 / 5x114.3

+12,+25, +27, +30,+35, +40

i think anything more then +35 offset it will require you to rull your fenders.

Also remember if you deviate from the stock +40mm offset too much you are increasing the scrub, so that is not a good thing.

"Biggest offset" is opposite of "widest lip", unless you measure your rim lip from the inside. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

+12 for biggest lip. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I already had to roll my fenders in the front. So rolling the back ones wont be a big deal...

REted... If i go with +12 offset, will i have any problems with the tires rubbing on the suspension? Or is +12 the MAX I could go without having any issues

Oh, famous last words. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

The rears are double wall and not made of the flimsy thin stuff as the front fenders. If you get to do this easily, tell us your secret!

It will not run any suspension stuff on the inside.

+12 is a nice safe offset for a 255 wide tire; we've got them to fit no problem.

+12 is the lowest offset you mention, so I guess that's your max. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

WOW.... so today i ordered the RMC gramlights. Everything is fine, order is placed etc. Then the guy calls me back. " it seems that you cannot get the RMC finish unless theres an order of 10 or more rims".....Honestly, is this a joke? So for me to get the RMC finish there has to be a group buy of 10+ rims to get it. That is complete bullshit!! What Rays only mixes a few batches of the RMC coat cause its too $$ or somthing. I dont get it?

Anyways, any groupbuys on here for the RMC gramlights https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

hey REted.... got 1 more ? for you bud... I am looking at the Volk GT-P rims... they come with a +11 Offset. You think that will rub, or be a big diff from the +12 that i could have gotten on the 57PRO??

Volk GP-T

So can i go with +11 in the rear with the GP-T's??

9" width?

1mm is not going to make that much of a difference. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
