Bought the Kenmore from Sears with a 3 year onsite warranty and lifetime on the burners so I got 3 years before I need to worry about looking for another grill.



No pics yet, i dont pick it up until thursday, it was on closeout got like $100 off or some ****. 4 burners at 12,000 btus and a side burner.

Propane isn't that expensive.

Propane is still cheap here, dunno about everywhere else.

Refills for a 20lb tank/actually 17 lbs of Propane are 17.99

gas use is not really a issue, I have a pretty big grill and it doesnt use that much gas, it has a 20,000 btu infrared rotisserie burner and 62500btu of regular burners, I dont have a side burner, last BBQ I had I never once used the side burner .

Mine has a bit more cast iron on the face, now they use all the stainless, its like 4-5 years old and has no rust or paint issues

yea they dont use that much propane. my grill has 5 burners a side burner anda rotisserie and we constantly used it. only went through 2 tanks or so all summer

My other grill has a 1000 LB tank, fill it up every 2 weeks!

I am BBQ right now old style! How long does it take to get charcol fluid out of the burning biquets? I had two shitty gas ones.But I hate meat with the fluid flavour....especially the fluid burps. Smoking as I type.

Charcoal really isn't that great, nothing a few wood chips in a gas grill can't make better!!!

only downside is im not waiting 1/2 hour for some wood to burn to BBQ burgers for the 2 of us

I like charcoal taste and like I say some wood chips in the gas grill make for nice flavor, however Amy and I grill all year and we usually eat 4 or 5 meals a week off the grill, fish, steaks, shrimp, etc.... I don't want to invest the time needed to get charcoal started or wood for that matter every night.

i can put some wood on my grates, use the gas to get get it going then shut the gas off and use the wood, I have to try it one day

I did ......and I sell propane. I just chunked two gas BBQ and the GF bought that thing in the pic.

I will say they taste great even though my clothes stink like I was hung out in jet exhaust.

Like i said if it was something I just did on the weekends i would prolly go charcoal, with the exception of the last "charmglow" from home depot I have had good life out of all of my bbq's. Hoping I'll be hapier with the Kenmore!
