who has one and whatcha got?
im looking at the new tom tom, it has voice directions, widescreen and all that ****, does not MP3 or pics and video which I see the new garmins have- I dont need that ****. Just looking for a basic thing that can help me get places. |
I have the most basic Tom Tom you can get, and I like it. Aside from a bigger screen (mostly for browsing the map) and maybe traffic updates (if that applies to you), I can't see what else you'd need.

actually im now realizing that I can buy Garmin through my distributors for cheap so I might end up with a better unit for less money, have to see if they sell the tom tom

let's see, it's in my pocket with my car keys right now and i can only feel my keys, the iphone isnt heavy, and the keys wont scratch the screen. I've also brake cleaned it by accident at work and it didnt even wink an eye.. plus now an intro model is $200 with a $70/month plan. Plus you have full access to the weather, internet, google maps, GPS, and tons more. i think you're just an anti-apple guy :P kevin |
you think im paying $840 a year in subscription fees for something to help me get places a few times a year?
|
Mapbook ftw!
