There are no major restrictions, x-rated posts, posts that are reported to a moderator or are deemed offensive may be moved to the "X-Rated" forum at the discression of the Nopistons.com staff. Flame Wars will be moved their is well, however a constant flaming or attacking of a member is considered a personal attack. The forum Private Message system is used for contacting specific members... posts directed at only one member that have no importance to the rest of the forum members will be deleted. There are some non-rx7 owner mods, however they are not usually in areas where knowledge of rx-7's is necessary.
There is a lot more to being a moderator then just owning an rx7. First and formost you gotta be on the forum A LOT, spend a lot of time here and be helpful to other members whenever possible. Then there's a handful of other factors including passing the admin's rigorous screening LOL The pre-requisite to be nominated by another moderator is no longer in existance. Jon and I make ALL of the decisions regarding new moderators. |

I only said that because, as I explained, sometimes my car interests can change. The day comes I buy an Rx7 though, means I'm 100% ready to dive into the Rotary world. Why do *I* want to be a mod? Because I'd love to contribute anyway I can...being I am no Judge Ito or super-tech on the engines, I figured the forum would be where I can contribute.
