Could you also please tell me why this forum has the exact same layout as the www.rx7forumm.com? Damnit, I hit the wrong key and cant see what I am typing ...

Anyhow, please explain whyou would copy the other. You want to be different, but it s a copy. Not trying to be an ass here, but just curious.



Also, you guys were complaining about stability on the forum, but it seems you have already cahanged your forums... What hapopend top all those other threads>? Gone? I see no more threads? And what? I had to reregister? Thats stability??

What I am trying to get at here is this: You have gone about this the wrong waty..

1st) Be unique.. DONT COPY. You score no points with everyonethere.

2) FIX the #### text box so I can see what in the #### I am typing. All I see is a cursor dancing in a ajaksdsh ack! black screen.

3) Dont dish other forums, err, the main forum, about stability, when clearly yyou can see that things need to happen. You chaneghd the formatt, lost all your users, and threads. At least the other forum integraded the threads form its previous version priio to the new one.

This is really annoying typing in the dark.



Please answer these questions, if this is somewhata legible.

First off we just moved the board and we are adjusting the settings, sorry you came in the middle.

We did not copy any other forum, we use a totally different software and have different topics. If we copied them then we copied every forum on the net, they all use similar software to author the forum.

Next I never once siad anything to diss any other forum, I only mentioned the stability of our forum.

Next the members of teh forum voted to move it so we could get rid of the pop-ups and we all agreed it best to move the forum before it got bigger and we all knew it would mean losing the posts.

Again I would like to re-iterate I never said anything negative about any other forum, only highlighted ours, sounds like you didn't quite get your facts strait there... along with several others. Again, we're still trying to everything together. Sorry you feel this way, let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

1st turn on the LIGHTS so we can read what the #### your saying.

2nd every forum you go to looks the same wheither it is english, spanish or any other language..ever go to gtp rc51 or gixxer.com. Check them out as well as other forums so you will see how the format is the same.

3rd as for changing and have to re-register, it was smarter to move now and do it before we got the labusa virus. I was on two other forums when they got too big and the servers crashed and the members had to re-registar all over again, so it was a smart idea to do it now! Do you have any other questions?????? Cause I got answers:D!!!!!!!

Not sure what the black background problem is. it has been fine for me? Bad timing perhaps.

We did have to re-register ( a small inconvenience) and we did not transfer over the posts....yet...perhaps...I can tell you that posts have been lost plenty of times on the other forum.

Unique...tbats a good idea...what do you mean? The look? philosophy? Seems all forums look alike to me from car forums to chess forums to ac repair forums.

I'm all about unique and want ideas.

Meaning, be different. I understand what you have said about the 'forum' software, but that is not what I am saying... No, I mean the layout.

You can have 1000 different forums, but the layout you can completly custimize.

For exampe:

- Titles: Rotary God. The www.rx7forum.com has those titles, and you directly copied that title for moderators.

-Forum Layout with the headers. Sure there are going to be some simular things, but your topics dirived off of the rx7forum. Be creative. Combine some stuff. Make it look different.

There are a lot more things like that, but thats what I mean; as well as others.

I plan on flip-flopping between all RX7 avenues. As this one grows I'll probably be spending more time here. Funny, there was a major fiasco on another forum. The two biggest abusers of the "Lounge" were finally banned.
